GOALS
1. Initiate, support, promote, and coordinate multidisciplinary research; expand the research landscape globally, particularly in South Asian nations.
2. To engage in scholarly and charitable endeavors to improve society in economic growth, environmental protection, social equality,and technological innovation.
3. To serve as a resource for government and private agencies, schools, individual and institutional researchers, and business by offering advice and consulting services.
4. Increase our understanding by working with other institutions across India and beyond, including government and private agencies, educational institution like schools, colleges, universities, management institutes, private organizations, and even industry and business/corporate houses.
5. To better the quality and capabilities of both faculty and students, we will do awareness camps, seminars/conferences ( national and international), workshops, training programs, and even training courses.
6. As a repository for knowledge for the benefit of society at large, this database will hold information from scholarly and non-academic sources from throughout the globe.
7. For the greater good of society and to broaden the scope of the study, to get academic articles published in journals, periodicals, and books.
8. To improve the quality of research areas and researchers as well as contribute to society’s growth, we must engage in a wide range of projects(both domestic and international, governmental and private) at the same time.
9. To carry out all programs and initiatives in the Philippines and beyond that contribute to POREP’a goal.

THE PRESIDENT
Dr. Raymund B. Moreno is a
Full-fledged Professor V at West Visayas State University and he serves as the OIC-Dean of the College of Business and Management.
He holds a Doctor in Business Management with specialization in Hospitality Management, Master of Science in Business Administration major in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Philippine Women’s University and BS Hotel and Restaurant Technology major in Food and Food and Beverage Services minor in Culinary Arts from Iloilo Science and Technology University. Likewise, he completed his academic requirements for the degree, Ph.D. in Public Administration at the University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City. He also completed his Fundamentals in Culinary Arts Course at the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management in Quezon City. He served to be an accredited National Competency Assessor in Cookery NC II, Food and Beverage Services NC II and Housekeeping NC II of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority for more than a decade.
He teaches basic and advanced culinary arts courses such as Kitchen Essentials and Basic Food Preparation and International Cuisine in the undergraduate level and Event Management, Economics, Research and Non-Formal Education in the graduate school.
He has presented scientific papers on food product development in national and international conferences held
in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and South Korea. His works have been published in reputable international scientific journals. He also acquired numerous Utility Models of his innovations in food product development registered at the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.
Dr. Moreno was named as Outstanding West Visayas State University Researcher in 2020 and Outstanding Community Extensionist at WVSU – Calinog Campus in 2021 and 2023, respectively. He also the President of the Professional Organization of Researchers and Educators of the Philippines and an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines
